I don't understand. If a private interest is willing to fund the recovery and preservation of a historical artifact so the world can actually see and study it, and they make money in the process, what is wrong with that? 
This notion that profit should never be realized by those private interest willing to fund these discoveries and recoveries and preservations has to be nipped in the butt.
