Found in old park that was closed in 1920's. Item is gold plated and I'm guessing that it was a necklace that held gold coins. It has a loop on the top, and slots on the sides. In the slots there is a piece of metal to compress the coin so it stays in the slot. The slots are offset, so when the coins are all in it looks like a flower. There is no name or manf. on it.

How big is it? Does it actually hold and dispense several coins that can be taken out if you need them? I don't remember seeing anything quite like it except maybe a coin changer but I can see that's not what it is. Hmmmm.Maybe the guts to a gumball machine that rotates and drops the coin when the lever is worked? Monty
