✅ SOLVED What type of clip is this?

Found this clip at a homesite from the 1920's. Is this a garter clip? Suspender clip? End of a cloth belt? Something different. Thank you.

My thought would be one side of a two piece buckle.... similar to the tongue and wreath style...

Thanks, Ken. I guess that is what I meant by the end of a woman's belt. Tongue and wreath buckle is a new term for me, so I didn't have a name for it. I think you are probably correct, but it must have been a belt more for fashion than function, because it is very thin, fragile metal.
