I carry a shovel, a trowel, and pinpionter in my left hand, and I wear a pouch with a towel and a tin to keep good stuff (remember, silver coins will start to tarnish as soon as it is exposed to air, so by putting them in a tin with paper towels will limit the tarnish) and my trusty DFX in the right hand.

And you eat this? :D

whoops! i read it too fast, i just eat worms................the gummy kind ::)

Bombers never to be famous jerky, and then a cold beer

Peanut butter sandwiches (2-4) depending on if anyone is hunting with me.
Crackers (2-4) packages depening on if anyone is hunting with me.
2 bottles of water x the number of hunters= 4-6 usually
2 cans of soda per hunter
One candy bar (a man's gotta know his limits)
chips if any are available.
1- 2 gallon thermos of water (on all hunts)

Since I usually hunt with Baldinboy and his idea of packing for the hunt is to make sure he has an extra can of chewin backer I almost always end up feeding him. :( :( :( :)

Hey my mom taught me to always bring enough for friends. ;) :)

I got the idea to take our water pot, heat up the water, put the coffee grounds in one of my new socks, and, when the water was hot enough, drop the sock into the water (top tied to the handle of the pot), and let it brew. It was GREAT - much better than those "coffee bags" that you buy (they always seem to make weak coffee), and when the coffee is done, turn the sock inside out, clean, and you are ready for the next pot.

Plus it helps keep your feet from going to sleep. ;D

Old Relic got the closest..

A six pack of Bud, some firey pork rinds, a bag of super hot corn curls, some kippered salmon, beef jerky, smoked chicken strips, a quart of herring in sour cream sauce, a fork, and an extra 6-pack of Bud.

Small cooler with a couple Pepsi's and bottled waters in it. A "sleeve" of saltines and a can of bbq veinna sausages or the hot & spicy ones, when I can find them. And a bag of starlight mints. That's it. Although those pork rinds sound pretty good, I may have to add them to the list. ;D

I typically have a coffe on the drive.....after awhile I may break for some...uh....coffee...and when Im done and back to the truck ,Im ready for some good ol coffee!
Yes , Im thin , but not wired....Ive become immune to caffiene.

diggum, you might want to watch those bbq viennas a bit. You might want to have some kids someday...

Seeds (perfect for eating while detecting!)
Moose Jerky
Caribou beef sticks
Diet Coke
Water
PBJ
:P

Ok, you can substitute beef jerky for the moose (for those of you in the lower 48...)

One can of Spam.

What you don't eat you can use to seal the battery compartment O-ring with and lube the bottom of the coil. It also has an SPF rating of 45 for them really sunny days.

I take a nice big Bluefish and a brick, when I get hungry, I make a nice big fire and put the brick in. When the fire starts to die down a little I put the Bluefish on the brick. When it's ready, I throw out the Bluefish and eat the brick ;D.
