I am not sure what this assassin bug has for lunch. I am glad that they don't grow big enough to prey on humans! I am sorry that the pictures are not entirely in focus. I am an old man with theshakes and didn't have my camera on a tripod.

Nice picture ...the beautiful weather in Georgia must be so pleasant now that you probably be seeing more of these around,on the other hand how is the mosquitoes and the ticks by you,,
They are pretty active up here in NY now
 
Mosquitos and gnats are getting bad. I keep my grass cut pretty short so I haven't encountered any ticks myself, yet. I did get one off my cat back in early March.
 
Insects can be so bazaar.
