Whites GMT Detector Question

today, I began to read more about my detector and I began to wonder, if the detector was properly tuned and adjusted, what would the smallest piece of gold it could detect be?

Probably in the neighborhood of a tenth of a grain.....maybe smaller in the right locations.

Depends on if you can hear it, likely need earphones and the screen readout may only twitch a little and of course it depends on the location.............63bkpkr

Something that small would have to be very close to the coil.

Put a small piece of Gold on a business card try a few different sizes of gold on each card take them to The UPS store and have them laminated and there's your test pieces to see how small of a piece you can find with your detector..
