Whites Spectrum XLT on Salt Beach

There is a beach mode and wondering if this older machine would work on the wet sand without too much falsing? Thanks in advance for any comments.

It will false unless sensitivity is turned way down, causing loss of depth. It is a single 6.59 freq detector, single freqs do not do well on salt beaches below high tide line due to salt.

Had one, tried it on the beach, Yikes! That's why I went to Minelab.....
