Whoever invented Shell's Mr. President coin game can take a flying...

Hey all, was out at our usual spot in the woods today. I got a great hit on the At Pro at 6 inches and thought silver for sure. Even when I saw it in the hole I though silver quarter...but no, another :BangHead: President coin. Must be my 4th or 5th one. I'm sure a bunch of you have found these as well. Thanks -Jay

I wouldn't mind some president dollar coins...

LOL! Been there, done that CS at my original farmhouse. The first few I found were fun. Now: :cussing:

And yes, they do look like silver. :tongue3:

HH

I wouldn't have been so irritated had it been in someone's yard or at an old playground but out in the middle of the woods...no way..lol

I was thinking the same thing yesterday... but about small "silver colored" screw tops that have a reeded edge, so when you see that edge showing through the bottom of your hole you get excited over a silver coin just to find it's not. It's still a rush...just short lived. :laughing7:

i actually had the complete shell set with the paper sleeve they went in bought at a yard sale in port huron. Gave it to my kid.

Coinstriking I like the old fashioned alum tokens, even from the seventies. Most come out decent even in acid rain areas. I have a few doozies, pics soon. Better than a handful of rotten zinc any day I say.

better than a pulltab any day

"What is....awesome!...silver.....some kinda....hey, wait a min,....what the flyin'....grrrrrrrrr."

(me finding FDR shell coin, I know how you feel!:BangHead:)

did your kid bury them in the woods:laughing7:

Dug one up.. Cool to find.

No we took a trip around michigan and I had him throw them out the window every couple of miles. lol

I know the feeling, few months back I popped a plug and the rim was showing. Called my partner over and said I got a silver quarter in the hole, pulled it out and I felt like an ass.
