Why does everybody delete their posts?

I have only deleted a couple posts (requested by Jeff to do so)
Other times they were just deleted for me.

I have never posted anything I was in any way ashamed of.
I do remember once posting some information and another member asked if I would pull parts of it as he was using this same info to write a book.
I obliged him, although looking back I doubt I should have as the guy is a putz.

I have also lost several hundred posts to exactly what you say,
a member gets feelers hurt and deletes his thread.

sometimes I respond in a negative way, & I pull it cuz it's just not me to be rude. I need to think before I write.

i have wondered about the same thing. sometimes in reading a post, others will be commenting on what a fine picture was posted ,or a great video, but there is no pic and no video, yet several folks will be talking about it. so what happened to the video or picture? plus i did'nt know you could pull your own post. But what i post, i post, and do'nt try to get personal. if you can't say it face to face- then don't say it. enjoy the world overheating. ( guess who is in control of the weather- and it ain't big al?)
