will i notice an upgrade?

I'm using an old Garrett master hunter CX that has the analog screen. I'm wanting to know if I buy an ace 350 or another 300$ish machine will I notice a big difference?

Difference in sound, weight, balance? Gotta define a little more. If I remember, the MH is a little heavy. TTC

I guess I mean is there a huge difference between what I will find with the mh and say an ace 350? Would it be worth my money or does the master hunter CX still out perform the ace 350?

There will not be a huge difference, not huge.

I have no experience with the Ace 350, but there are certainly lower priced detectors today that will outperform the master hunter. I had a master hunter cxII then switched to a Fisher 1266x, and then several different Tesoro detectors. They were all superior to the cxII. After using the others I actually loaned out the cx ii and just never bothered getting it back.

Pretty close to the same performance but heaver with a great screen.
