WILL THERE BE ANOTHER CTH ?

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

You guys sound like a farly tightknit group, any chance a yougn' and his lovely fiance' could tag along? I am gone a lot (military) and a trip like that would be great for us before we get married. Anyway, if not, I understand, and if so I may be able to help in some capacity...I don't mean to invite myself, just curious! Thanks.

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

That's exactly how we get together ... everybody invites themselves!! ;D If you're an MDer, you're welcome!!!

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

if it's not fun, it must be work, so we all try to have fun, bring a smile, your MD, maybe the other half LOL and prepare to return home with memories that'll last for a long, long, long time

Happy Hunting, Sniffer

Carefull Tom! WD conveniently neglected to mention the the strange and odd initiation rites required to become a A$$ (abandoned spouse society). It took my wife months to recover. She kept saying she had a headache. (Actually she had a great time) So if your bride to be is not the Mder then she must become a member of the A$$'s and I am not sure having a headache for months right when you are getting hitched is a good idea.Just kidding. You would have a great time I'm sure, just keep an eye on WD at all times and tell your bride to be not to wear any garters as WD has a way of ending up with them. Visit the old CTH thread.

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

It looks like Burdie and I are both trying to decide when to have a hunt ... two different locations, Louisiana and/or Kansas. He's working with The Chamber for a date, so I'm waiting on that decision. Don't want to crowd that date. Depending on when he gets allowed to have his hunt, mine will be earlier or later, or postponed. Anyway, WE WILL HAVE A HUNT THIS YEAR!!! ;D ;D ;D

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

Tom,

The more the merrier, but just be forewarned, keep your bride away from any garters!
You both will have a great time, go back and read past posts on both J.D.s Mo hunt and on the CTH hunt you'd enjoy the tape also, yea we are close knit but your on here so your in to, so ..... its just a matter of time til we get to meet the 2 of you, and your bride can stay in contact with any of us on here while you are away!

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

I can tell you that Baldingboy and I crashed the CTH party and they made us feel right at home. This is a great bunch of people. Don't know wether to say congrats or you have my condolences on the marriage. ;) :D ;D

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

I don't know if ME and BB were scared off when they first arrived at CTH, the minute they walked thru the door I knew who they were and, HEY! Its Master Eagle and Balding Boy, I thought oh no for a minute there I thought they would run the other way!

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

For a La - Al hunt, the first requirement is that there will be plenty of Red Beans/Rice AND Shrimp Gumbo!!! Especially since there was no Madi Gras invite!! But wait,we don't know if Noodle/RiverRat/Nana can cook or not???

ME,

I just don't agree that you and BB crashed the party. I've never heard nor seen anything that would lead me too believe that you and your better half BB, have been anything but perfect guests to any shindig that you've been invited to........LOL!!! Now that Schloopy is another story, HA!
Man, what I wouldn't do to find an excuse to make another Rowdy Bunch outing. I've also done some searching for a decent spot to have a hunt. Absolutely no luck though. I have found a few nice areas that it may be possible to have a seeded hunt but that's not really a cool way to get together. I myself favor a spot that has possible surprise digs!!!!! I'll still do my research and see what I can do. I really think MO is a nice place to have a RB hunt cause it's unnaturally centralized for most of us. Am I wrong???? Anyway, I'm in on any hunt anyone can come up with as long as it's not it Tonga or East of the Atlantic... Money issues you see!!!!! I have too say that I miss the little contingent of the Rowdy bunch that I seem to be part of. I have to call that clan the "Underworld of the Rowdy Bunch". And I'm not conceding to anything by making that statement. Maybe it's just the company I keep. LOL!!!!!!!!!
As with everyone else, I'm game to help anyway that I can on our next hunt. And for all those folks that are new and curious about the RB hunts------you'd be a fool not to attend and establish your identity as a new "Rowdy Bunch" member!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HH all,

rr

Re: CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT 2

Oh, you babies!!! You don't have to eat shrimp! ::) You don't have to eat possum! BUT, you might want to try some of it!!!

Baby backs (pork)
Local fish (catfish, perch, redfish)
Grilled shrimp with many flavorings
Grilled scallops
Deer chili
Duck breasts in bacon wraps
Major breakfasts every morning

This is, afterall, Sportsmen's Paradise!!
