Wobbly E-trac anyone?

Noticed my three month old E-trac was starting to feel wobbly. Noticed that the shaft had all but slid out of the main box. Opened the latch, pushed it back up and snapped it shut. five minutes later ,same thing
spent a few hours out today, had to keep pushing it back up. finally put a piece of black tape on it, which held for a little longer, but then failed as well. FIXED!!!!!!!

I did once, but found that I did not have it pushed in properly. Otherwise no problems

Did they Screw up on your Upper rod ?

Is the other one Facing down ?

Flipped the shaft and all is good. Thanks Jeff, I know you were just trying to get it together for me quickly that day so I could have it. No harm, no foul

Yes be careful folks. It does make a difference how you put the upper shaft in the box. If you notice, there are some red stoppers in the clips of the Upper and lower shafts....Those will go bad eventually, as you use the machine more and more. It is an easy fix, and inexpensive. If thge shafts start to slip, PM me and we will get you taken care of.
