I had a few minutes to kill before going into a work appointment and there just so happened to be a bank within walking distance. I went in and asked if they had any halves. The teller said that her "gas station buddy" dropped off a roll with $10 in halves this morning. She said that some kid paid for gas with it. She actually thanked me for taking them off her hands so she doesn't have to count them.
The roll looked old, like it was from the 1980's. I opened it slowly and saw shiny silver rims! Boom! 5 Franklins! One of the Franklins (1960) looks like a mirror and in uncirculated condition, besides a few fingerprints.
My best score in awhile! $40 worth of silver for $2.50!
