$90 for silver seem astonishing 🫣

You seem surprised... "astonished" ...

If you are surprised / astonished now... then you will really be astonished soon. heh

I monitor these prices every day, just didn’t think I would ever see silver at $90 …. Gold is a little different… it doesn’t shock me as much 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

What will you say when it hits 100 this week... ?
And then after the pullback begins to SURGE onward ?

I guess you missed all my posts long ago stating that 100 will be the LOW / bottom for silver.

Sadly I've recently been handing over 120+ years old antique sterling to be thrown into the fire 😌. I've determined they have no value in any other way than to be refined. The scraper I deal with definitely doesn't see any of the antique silver I've handed over as anything other than profit 🤑 Its all like seeing the forest for the trees to be all cut down for lumber. Some of the antique silver I've seen piled up at the scraper waiting to be shipped, just makes me wanna 😢

It's the simple fact where antique value has less value than the silver value.
Many have an appreciation for antiques, and see the quality of craftsmanship that will never be reproduced again on the scale it once was is slowly dying off.
Just a while back I bought this action lot for $160++=$220 all in.
Just this unique spoon/ladle is now worth $550.14 in melt
I'll hoard for the time being but if the need be it's going to the melting pot as well.
Because seriously who would fork out that amount of money for this spoon?

I have a few pieces I just can't let go of for my take on scrap. Though I might take spot value if offered, but hardly a soul out there is gonna do that at these prices. I just went through some boxes to pick out some of the smaller pieces Ive accumulated for pocket change. I've come up with an estimate spot value at over $800. I've no clue how much I've got into it, but I pretty sure it was anymore that a hundred bucks. After cardio rehab this morning, I think I'll just take it down and see what I can get out of it.

Bad omen. Silver is the real currency not gold. Means the financial system is going to crash head on if the trend continues!

They'll try to squash the prices again, as they tried post the Christmas surge.
$80 made them really nervous, I can imagine some are sweating now.

It's a wake up call for the banks. Repressing silver for decades, getting caught, fined. Did they learn anything one has to wonder
Yet they short it, use the outdated data from the world bank ($40 average for 2026)

I would love to be a fly on the wall listening to them justify that number.
Yet we have a bank up here that lost nearly $3 million in October.
They bought silver @$78 shorted it @$40 and the stop is at $92.
Silver is sitting at $91.50
Wonder how many oz. @ $14 they have on the books.
But just a small player overall in the big picture.

Smalls like the sterling thimbles probably would be a resell over spot.

I never worried when gold did go up. It's supporting the central bank's issued money. Basically if gold goes up it is because of the central banks securing the value of the issued money. There is still enough gold to go around so the system stays stable.

But silver is a different kind of beast! It is not used to secure the issued banknotes but to replace them. Try to buy your groceries with a gold coin. Silver is much more practical because the specific value is much smaller.

Gold is the banker's currency. Silver the people's. If gold goes up expect a change of the power elite. if silver rises fast expect a revolution.

I might have seen them but I don’t always remember everything I read, no offense.. I’ve been seeing posts here saying silver is going to be the new gold… for a while, I don’t think silver will ever be $4500 an ounce but over $100 is certainly possible

No... Silver at 4500 is not going to happen.
But silver at over 100 is certain... and will be 100 by weekend... IMO of course.
