Yeah finally found some more silver!

The town I live in (New Castle,IN) is terrible to hunt! A friend and I both have been all over town, the parks, schools, farm houses, fairgrounds....and silver is a rare thing to find around here! Iam not saying their is no silver, just not a lot....mostly clad. You get these signals that sound great, and you think "this has got to be silver!" Then it will end up being two memorial pennies together in the ground, or a clad quarter or dime! Today we went out of NC to a park 20 min. out, and found a 1930 Wheatie, 1918 Merc.,1959 Rosie, and a little clad. That was all within an hour! Then my friend wanted to go somewhere else!!! WHAT!!?? I said we havn't even hardly hunted this spot and I am still getting good stuff! He wanted to check out another spot before he had to get home. He GF just had a new baby, so I understand him having to get home...but leaving that spot! We did just that, and we found a few memorial pennies at this spot he wanted to go to....that was it! Oh well it was still a nice day for me to find 2 silver, and so far the 1918 Merc is my oldest silver coin find to date.

Yeah, I'd certainly go back and hit that spot hard. A place where you can pull silver from the ground should be worked like it might not be there tomorrow. Congrats on your oldest silver and may you soon break in to the 1800's
