Back in August my wife and I were invited to a dinner party at a mutual friends, friends house.
It was an outside social party with Hors d'oeuvres and adult beverages.
Well we spent the evening partaking in the festivities and very much enjoyed ourselves.
When we got home my wife gave out a sort of gasp and said "I lost my ring".
We hunted the house and came to the conclusion that it was lost at the party.
Being the distance to the persons house I put it the back of my mind that I would look for it when ever I was back in the area.
Last Friday I had the chance.
I thought for sure that they would have mowed that little ring to pieces and scattered it to oblivion.
I arrived and pulled the Deus out with the 9"hf coil, set it in FAST @ 28hkz, reactivity 2.5, sen 86, full tones, Tracking and disc 10.
I pretty much knew about where we were most of the night, so I started in the general area.
The property owner said good luck and went inside.
I hit three targets that I know were either to big or to deep and then a sweet tone steady in all direction at the VDI in the low 60s.
I bent down parted the grass and just in the top of the roots was a thin 18k gold band.
EUREKA!! I found the ring!!
I called out to the property owner and he came out and said That was less than 5 minutes!!
Got to Love the Deus and it's fast recovery.
