Hi Gang,

I got permission to detect at an old house (1900s era) in Yellow Springs Oh. Jeff and I found a little clad and I found two silver coins.
Unfortunately, there are dings on the rim of the Half, otherwise it would be worth over $40.

Half's are a rare find, so I was really pleased to see it pop up. This is only the third silver coin this year.

I guess finding old houses is the answer--but then you have to...ASK!

Those are beautiful.. I just love the designs of the old silver coins, the walking liberty is one of my favorites along with the mercury dimes.. such beautifully designed coins.. shame we don't have em on the coins we use today.. Super nice find.

Congrats. Those are some great coins....the walking liberty half is my favorite....old coins have class and character...

I hope I get to find some oldies like that one day
