Yes !! Treasure Time !!

Spring has sprung, and the birds are singing ! I had the day off today, and it is cool and windy and cloudy here in north west Michigan. I decided to take the detector on a nice old fashion hunt to an old farm house down the road and picked up some splendid treasuries to share with you. Then it was dinner time.

Hi Checkmate! it looks like you're doing OK with the treasure hunting. The toy trucks are neat and it looks like you also found a marble. I could see that you have found a few coins as well. Every signal dug increases your skill level and teaches you just a little bit more about your detector. it looks like you're off to a great start. Good luck with your future hunting. Thanks you guys, I was feeling a little discouraged. I decided to go back out. Instead of walking back down to the farm house, I decided to work my Niebuhr's front yard. I found a 1953 wheat penny, then I was going around a tree stump and picked up a 1929 mercury head dime that was in surprisingly great condition. It was funny because when I started digging I went about three inches and hit a big tree root and I thought oh crap ! I was shocked to find that the dime had all ready been unearthed. Naturally I thought that is was just a regular dime because it look so clean. The first thing I saw was the back of it, then I new right away that it was a merc !
