Re: Your Occupation If You Lived In The 1800's
I have thought of this many times. I would want to have been an Explorer.
Since I can remember, I have always wondered what was over that next hill
or mountain. So I always went over to find out, as long as I could get home
before sundown. My mother would get quite upset with me if I didn't.
We built homemade boats and floated down the rivers, and climbed the highest
mountains. I always felt like I was the first person to set foot at these places.
When I got a little older, I would take my 22 cal. rifle, a little snack and go all day
to new areas.
The next step was when I got my driver's license. I would travel every back road
that I could find. I discovered so many things out there, that I never knew existed.
Today I am to busy working to pay the bills, to enjoy life.
It sure was fun, and no worries of all the problems in the world like nowdays.
Happy Trails to all of you,
Clayton
