We are going out of town next week for a few days. We will be driving about 600 miles to St Louis. Yesterday my wife says, we should stop in at some of the banks in the towns on the way. She was visiting her Mother a few months ago and picked up a roll of quarter from the local bank to do some laundry.

She call me and said the roll had 1 Rode Island state quarter and 39 silver quarter.

I thinking why not if the time available?

Thats always fun to do. Stick with halves and large dollars, unless you got alot of $$$

I would definitively do it. I did a few months ago, but unfortunately the results weren't great. If I had to do it again, I would get rolls of dimes at each stop instead of just halves and big dollars so I would at least have some additional coin to search for silver.

I'm travelling to visit my parents tomorrow in a smaller town. Gotta try to get the kids up early so I can try to get to some banks before they close at noon!
