Your wheat penny average per box...

Mine is ~17.5 wheats per box- $275 searched or 27500 pennies this year. 191 wheats and 1 indian head penny. the ratio is 191:27500 which is .007, multiply by 2500 and the total is 17.5 per box.

That's a good average, mine's 10.6.

When I first started it was about 12.5 wheats per box but it has tailed off a bit and now I would say about 10. Best box ever was 27 wheats for me. I was keeping super-accurate stats per box but that became too tedious so now I just keep my totals.

My average is about 14.4. However, the jar I recently posted was a lot worse than the brinks boxes I've been getting, so it pulled down the average. For boxes I've been getting about 17.

My BEST box had 8. Most have 3-4. I have even skunked a few times. I would guess the average is about 3.

I search bags($50.00) rather than boxes because it takes way less time(ryedale machine). I do an average of 12 bags per week and average 15 wheats per bag. The best bag I ever had was 141 wheats. The best box had 154 wheats. So far I have found almost 4000 wheats. The best coin found was a fine 1914 D. So far I have (6) Indian Heads.

not bad at all...I usally score on average 11 wheats per 25 dollars....thou there was one time i got 26 rolls of solid wheats...but that dont really count

my worse box was 8 and my best box was 32.

A normal average for me would be a little under ten per $25, but a statistical average would be 1 out of 47 cents, mostly due to dream rolls (out of $7,415) recorded, but I've lost a bit of data.
