So, I haven't been hunting much lately. Remodeling, vacation, work, and side jobs have eaten up all my time and zapped my energy. I have been able to pick up a box or two of halves, maybe a box of dimes, here or there though just to try and pick up a little silver.
But, today, my girlfriend shoots me a text...
"HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE ME?!" To which I reply, "With all my heart, what's up?"
She then responds with the following picture:
And I'm just like, "DAMN!"
So she goes on to explain, "Guy comes in to the teller station next to mine, says he has $23 worth of coins he found in his dad's dresser as he was cleaning out the house. Wants to cash them in. I hear him put them down on the counter and immediately recognized the *clink*clink*clink* sound you always tell me to listen out for."
Then she sends me these pictures:
As soon as the guy left, she bought everything from her friend at the station next to her.
Not sure what the final tally is, but from counting the coins in the pic it looks like all the halves were silver; and, of course, the PEACE DOLLAR!
