Those 1798s always seem to come out in nice shape, even here in PA. Yours is a great looking one too! Combined with the other coins and you had a great hunt.

Dave, I am amazed that you guys are still able to find cellar holes to hunt considering how hard you have hit it for so many years. And permission never seems to be an issue - you just hike for miles following stone walls and old maps. Heck, all the woods around here are posted. I guess I'm a little jealous. Most of the 18th century dwellings around here were simple log cabins that are 1) on private property 2) not on any maps 3) did not have a cellar hole, and 4) you rarely see a property with an old stone wall.......
Did I mention those are some sweet finds - several nice coppers, buttons, and a killer knee buckle, plus the seated silver. Good work my friend.

The detail on that 1798 is pretty incredible. That clasp knife looks early, could be Rev. War period. Love the buckle, too!
