1811,1838 LC/1874,1882,1883 IH +Some Relic's From The New House!!

I just recently moved into a ca. 1850 house with 154 acre's just down the road.I haven't had much time to detect getting everything settled ,but what little time I have had has produced some nice coin's and a few relic's from just the front yard.I mean just in front of the porch!!That leave's alot of land left to be explored.The place was built by a Doctor back in the day who had treated CW soldier's.......Can't wait to get out there!!!The coin's need some cleaning for sure.......any idea's?? Keep you all posted

Very nice little pile of coins! The 1874 IH looks to be in at least "good" condition possibly better and might be worth $25 or more. It has a nice patina and I would go gentle on it to preserve that. I just found an 1875 IH yesterday in similar condition and with a little soaking in some soapy water and some gentle swabbing with Q-tips it turned out great.

Yep Quindy, and you just wait til I get my detector swinging again, he's going to have a lil competition Moving stinks, but this home is awesome and we love it - comes with peace, tranquility and Treasure

Joe, you're on a roll . Unbelievable finds and just in one area. The silver is here, I feel it. I can't wait to hit the fields. It'll take us a few years to cover this ground - I love it!!!! Now we'll be able to get lil man out there with us more often and make it a family affair.

Wow Joe, looks like you're in for a treat. You will certainly save on gas for a while since your relicmobile will be parked in the driveway I see a Tombac button there that is certainly older than the circa 1850 house, so hopefully there was an earlier home and possible colonial relics! The chain that Lost Crow mentions is a curb chain off a horses bit.
