1814 Capped Bust Dime found today PLUS.......

[Rich in Central PA]

The Metal Detecting Gods smiled on me today, and I was talkin' to myself out in the woods, and smilen' all day. I didn't care if I found anything else the rest of the day, because the rest was gravy

Decided to hit the old Boy Scout camp as it was real good to me last week. Before it became a BS camp there there must have been something else going on there because today "was a metal detecting first" in my 15 years of detecting.

Only a half hour after I started digging, I get this deep solid penny dime signal. I figured its a barber or a merc......holy moley at 6 inches........here she is a friggin' BUST Dime. OMG, I'm already dancin An hour later 3 Liberty Head V-Nickels in one hole.

I'm on a hot streak last 2 outings....... but here is what I dug today...........

1. 1814 Capped Bust Dime (LARGE DATE)
2. 1895, 1895, 1902 Liberty Head V-Nickels
3. 1916 Buffalo Nickel
4. 1918, 1944 Wheat Cents
5. One-Piece flat button (best colour) backmark

Thanks for looking everyone.............Rich

Jeff, I am concentrating on an area in last 2 outings about 20 yards square, paths to and from the swimming area, where they changed into their trunks, etc., and going very slow, don't want to miss anything, trying to cover just one area.

No smokes or battery yet, but I got my eyes a' open. Going back Wednesday.................Thanks again, Rich
