I may have this in the wrong forum,but worth a try.Found this yesterday.Only rinsed it off.
Should I clean it?And I know nothing of values of coins :dontknow: Looked on web but not much help
for a coin dummy :tongue3: Help please.

why is there a dark box around the date? :icon_scratch:

Someone mentioned a darker color around date.Would that be caused by the restamping?
 
That is one nice found coin. As others have said do not clean this coin it looks great as it is

i've seen some nice coins been cleaned and take away most of there aesthetic and mony value, so like everyone else is saying just leave it. great coin :icon_thumright:
