well I went to the flea market last week and the best offer from the 4 dealers there was $3.50. I felt offended by the offer. I want at least $10 for it

yeah Canada use to use silver in their coins as well. However, this half dollar only contains 80% silver.

Sad thing is, my local coin store will only pay 10x for canadian silver

Ive been picking up some key date Canadian Dollars and Halfs periodically I picked up a 1936 half in VF condition ( only 38550 minted ) for $21 also a 1936, 1939, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1963 and 1964 Dollar coins all between $10 and a high of $27 each. I really think Canadian stuff is under collected and appreciated, a while back I picked up 10 mint 1964 Canadian halves for $60 including shipping
