2 HOUR HUNT SAVED BY CLAD... UPDATED

As I have previously stated I have a post all policy.

After 2 hours my best find was a spendable £1 coin ($2). 50p/hour might be below minimum wage but I'll take it on a day like this!

2 bits of roman pot.
Large brass decor piece
2 buckles
blank copper
cold nose

I'm now considering the park.

Even out here in the country we have clad.
I used to bring in the piles and then I got hooked on
relics and history.
Clad is a good fall back when nowhere else to hunt.

Saved by clad, LOL! I have been saved by clad many times. The ground is rock hard frozen here, going to try a forest tomorrow or Sunday but I have my doubts. HHx2, Mike

Kirk I know obviously where you live it is a bunch of corn fields...but your constant slamming of clad hunters is an old act... If you lived in a heavily populated area such as me for instance you would understand clad can easily pay for all your equipment and buy you all the silver coins you want.. ...Do me a favor guess how many parks and beaches in my area...go ahead this will be fun!

If you could see some of the private messages I have received about him! I have to empty my message box all the time...also the guy saying I am no saint i agree...and with good reason...but that is something that is confidential...but he may have forgotten his blasting of that member to me in private messages...guess what i just looked and still have saved in my mail ..so you may get to see his exact words right here with his next dumb comment!

I LOVE that old Holiday Favorite! It's a game called "Tnet Blackmail." I see that the cabin fever has already started. How many members are we going to lose on Tnet this winter? Maybe I'll start a post and offer a prize for someone who can correctly predict the answer.

Chill out! Crusader, I agree that it is nice to find a little hard cash every once in a while. I wish our coins here were worth as much as your denominations of coins are worth there. Then I'd be out digging a little clad for groceries every once in a while! You've made so many fantastic finds this year that NOBODY has ANY right to bust your chops. Kirk, I think you need to let this one go. DFX Gregg and MM, you all too. Be with your families, eat lots of good food, and forget about it.

You are 100% right...Crusader is by far the top hunter I see on t-net.....and he is the last one that should receive rude comments from this person that wether he realizes it or not has caused alot of people to leave t-net.... Imagine if he stopped posting because of rude ignorant comments...it would be a great loss here...

I am neutral on the subject. I'm not defending or supporting anyone--so I should make that clear. All of you folks mentioned above have made significant and impressive finds this year, and I consider you all to be experienced, dedicated detectorists. You should all just let it go. 'Nuff said.

Competition is healthy; Dad & I tease each other all the time. Difference is at the end of the day we are a TEAM.

Metal Detecting is not a sport & I have never seen it at the Olympic Games. Its a hobby which we all love and enjoy in DIFFERENT ways. If everyone enjoys it who is to say anyone enjoys it less than them? (not me for sure) We are all one BIG TEAM. The competition is between US & Time, Plough, & Corrosion.

Welcome to tnet. Glad you like the posts. I will carry on what ever the comments. I have learnt tons from Tnet & I hope I give a little back to help the greater knowledge.
