Wow, what alot of fun fun today.
This is what it must of been like back in the 70s? Lol.
Now to the story. I decided to hit this old mill, when I got there I realized I didn't have my pouch with my pinpionter or my digger. So I figured I was only going to dig the high tones.
I did have my shovel though.
Let me tell you its hard work without a pinpointer. Lol
Anyway by 12pm I had 12 silvers and the KG. Went to get something to eat and drink, oh I used the deus in the morning. Then after lunch went back with the CTX and dug another 11silvers. I had a blast!!
Cant wait to hit by the water and in the overgrowth in the fall.
Hopefully thats were the old stuff is.

That's crazy great,,, I have a personal silver coin high of eight coins in one hunt.
To dig that amount of silver in one hunt is what dreams are made of.

You have again raised the bar, to my utter dismay.

Let's do the math... I have 46 silvers in 8 months. 30 days per month, times 8 months is 240 days... you got half as many in one day, so that makes you only 120 times better than me. OK, I feel better about myself now.

You hitting a spot like that is like me going to the soccer field and finding $12.00 in clad. It's fun, but not really what you would prefer to be finding. It's just hard to stop once you start finding it right? I would love to spend a year up in your neck of the woods and hunt all the late 1800s properties and see how many silvers ( I don't care if they're modern silvers) I could come up with in 12 months. Have a spare room for rent cheap by chance?

I still say you should have stayed till you found 26 silver to have doubled your best single day total.

Looks more like an 1950's fairground than an old mill site. Sometimes when looking for one thing we stumble onto something else.

I'm sure the old mill site is there, you just have to get through all the 20th century silver first - LOL
