With summer in full gear I have been doing more boating and such summer activities. However I have been getting out for an hour here and there. I purposely have been trying to score some clad lately. Good clad spots are hard to find around here. So my thoughts turned to my childhood when we had our summer football workouts. We use to go up to the local convenient store and buy lots of gum. So we must have had $.....Anyway the spot turned up many Quarters. As you will see from the picture the Quarter stack dwarfs the puny merc. It was great to get a site that cranked out quarters and dimes with very few pennies. 22 Quarters in the stack. ;D After that site Nate and I hit a regular school and I got my silver fix with the Merc. 8)

The other neat find was the 3000 hits by Eddy Murray. I remember watching that game 12 years ago. Time flies.

Last two pics are from a recent fishing trip on my boat Nate and I did on Lake Erie.

Nice finds Bob, clad hunts are fun especially when it's there to find, LOL! I really like the boat and the fishing sounds great! Do you ski with the boat as well? HH, Mike

It's a good ski boat but so far I have yet to get Nate or Rachel out skiing yet(lack of interest). My older brother has a nice ski boat and skiis barefoot. I have done one ski off his boat but not mine yet.

MM - it really gets pretty good gas milelage(3-4 mpg). Usual trip out is 6 miles and back or $12 in gas and if I make my guests give me $ I do pretty good. ;D

Nice pics! What I fondly remember about Eddie Murray was his struggle against the Pirates in the 79 Series. Had he done anything, the Orioles probably win. Still, he's a Hall of Famer; cool find.

Henry - he was a consistent producer with the Indians but would go into his slumps. I can't recall him doing for the Indians when they made it to the ?? Series. Actually can't even recall what year they were in the series.. :D

Good work, Bob.

Now you can go back and find the old stuff.

Hope you find and LC soon.

Lake looks good.

Red sun in the morning, sailor take warning. Red sun at night, sailor's delight.

Nice finds, Mirage. Cool commemorative pin.

Beautiful sunset pic too!

Thanks for sharing.

WTG Bob on the finds and the pics are awesome too!

Way to go, have a nice summer

Two things you can't go wrong at. Fishing and metal detecting. Looks like you had fun and like the Merc.
