4 Indian day and an old coin/apothecary weight

Hunted my pounded seated field for the first time in awhile. Hunted an area far away from the huge iron patch. Found a few buttons including a tombac and 3 spent indians. Also got the trade weight in that area. I think its probably a 19th century example though I have found a few older items in this field. It would be interesting to know what they were using it for. I also lowered the sensitivity to 85 on my Deus and worked the iron patch a bit. Was suprisingly hitting a lot of targets including the nice 1893 IHP. Think I still may pull some more silver out of there someday.

I take it the trade weight is the biscuit token? I like the idea of turning down the sensitivity in the iron patch, I've got a couple giant iron patches to do that at. I don't know why I have not done the old low beams in the fog trick in such a long time? I really need a virgin site again to get me motivated.

Though Im sure this place has never been hit, I have detected many sites loaded with indians but few or no silvers. A dime or quarter was a good bit of money then so not many lost plus past detectorists too lazy to dig those lower tones
