4th Of July Finds

Hi all,

Hope you're all having a Happy 4th Of July! We're looking forward to our annual back yard barbecue, followed by fireworks tonight at the park..should be a good time.

I went out for a little while this morning and hit a few schools..there wasn't gobs of coins and rings that I used to find so much of, but I came back with a few things, including a mood ring, a copper bracelet, a handful of clad, a small gun, a pendant, a Jefferson dollar and an earring.

Nice July 4th finds Natman

How tastey was the BBQ ?

The barby was smokin' and the weather was great..didn't sweat as much as last year with temps about 10 degrees below normal We dined out on the patio and everything tasted GREAT!

Another great hunt. You seem to find your share of those president dollar coins.

Thanks Doug..I also found a James Monroe dollar last week! I think all my presidential dollars were found in elementary schools, in the wood chips.

Happy Independance Day Nattie!!! Glad you got out. I would love to hit a couple of places today. May do that later on. We had a real good rain yesterday, and the crowds were everywhere!

Hiya Moon, nice of you to chime in! I went to where they shot off the fireworks at the park before sun up on Saturday morning..there were TONS of people in the wood chip playground, and ya know something? I didn't find a thing!! Maybe someone was out there in the middle of the night!

Great finds. The schools I hit are getting find-scarse, also. Have to find others to clean out. Our usually start replenishing when school starts, again.
