Hello friends! Well two days ago, my dad told me about dowsing. I had never really heard about it, just about people finding water with sticks. So I started looking into it. I seen people dowsing photos of areas, and it really intrigued me. I believed! Which I believe is very important. So today, before we went out on our M' Ding hunt at a early 1900's football field, I said, let me try this. My dad had already pulled two silver out of this field the last time we were there, and was hoping for more this time. So I went on Google earth, got a picture of the area, and printed it out. Now I don't have any fancy dowsing tools or anything like that, so i took a necklace, and put a silver ring on it. After I printed out the map, I took my crafty dowsing tool, and began. I asked it to show me where the silver was at. I moved it back and forth the picture slowly, and felt it pull at some spots, and circle others. I marked them on my pic, with X's. I didn't really know what to think, but had an open mind. If it worked, cool! If not, Oh well. Here is the map I came up with, the yellow X's are where I marked silver, and the red is where we found silver. The top right X's and the top left X, we didnt get to spend any time on. IMG_20121202_175138.webpI started at the lower left. Found a 1941 silver Washington, within 10 feet of this X. Between this and the next X to the right, my dad found two silver dimes, one Merc, and one Rosie, nothing around the next X tho. So we went out on the football field, those two X's stacked on top of each other, were dead on!!! The bottom one I got my 1898 barber dime, and while i started checking the X on top of it, I told my dad to while I checked the other two X's in the top right corner. Our time ran out, but as I was walking back to my dad, he had that look! I asked him " Did you find it?" He said yep, and I could tell he was a little shocked at the accuracy, we walked out where he dug it, and we looked at the map! Wow! Dowsing works!! Oh yeah, it was another Merc. I know spending time at the few remaining X's, is probably going to bring forth another silver or two. The crazy thing was that this was my first time doing it. I will be trying to master this, and will continue believing! Happy Hunting, TheWoodBoys480377_309236059190822_1474457970_n.webp:icon_thumleft:

This thread is alot of fun. I'll throw in some. I believe in God, and I believe that dinosaurs existed as well. Obviously that's a huge contradiction. According to the Bible, dinosaurs never existed and Adam and Eve started this whole big ball of mud we call Earth.(started doesn't mean created folks) Now, you tell me this.....we've found the fossils, we've found the old DNA strands and old Wooly Mammoths. So who and what is right?
Does God exist? Yes. Did Dinosaurs exist? Yes. Does the Bible not account for 17yrs of Jesus's life? Yes(childhood/teens). Does Carbon Dating completely contradict the Bible's words of when Earth started? Unfortunately Yes.
The point that I'm getting at is this folks. Believe what you want to believe and be happy with yourself in your beliefs. Abide by the book, but please remember is was created by humans and that perception is critical. It is just a book after all, don't let that be the only form of relationship you have with God. HH ya'll!!!!

nice coins.

I've been in construction for 30 yrs, and have seen underground pipes and wires dowsed with great accuracy.

I have met professional well drillers that swear by dowsing.

But this map dowsing seems a little far fetched. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but with actual dowsing in the field there are magnetic or electrical fields of some sort that are either created by the target, or disturbed by the target.

A map is just a piece of paper.

It would be interesting to take latitude and longitude from the marked spots, and check the finds against them with a gps unit. It's a little hard to tell exactly if what you found corresponds precisely to the map, if it doesn't it's just a coincidence.

There are so many valuable caches out there.....If this worked I think we would see at least one post of success......till that time I'm skeptical.
