I stopped at my pickup bank today to get my usuall $50 in pennies. Of course I also asked for halves. While the teller is getting the halves I hear her say " uh oh! There's a solid silver one". Sure enough when she handed me the coins there was a '54 Franklin right on top. I've pulled over $20 in silver from this same bank in the last two days. All from just asking if they have any halves today. That teller is going to get a treat next time I'm in. She could have kept it for herself. :hello2:

great job! i just don't understand, i've had the same thing happen to me with 40%ers, the tellers know they are silver, but give them up... hmm, that gets me thinking, they know about silver, but not the value??

Some banks policies do not allow tellers to buy coins for there own personal advantage. That teller definitly deserves a treat/gift card.

Alot of people still think silver I worth 5 bucks an ounce
