a cool bone thing and some KRF gum drop scrapers

this bone thing is so smooth and to me it rules
but i dont know what it is
either a tool or an ornament
found some nice examples of KRF scrapers
they seem to be the picture perfect examples in a way
the last one is either agate or petrified wood i think, but still like the material
we call them kind "gum drops"

Great looking finds Steve. Those Scrapers are very, very nice. Great looking materials.

I wonder if the Bone piece could be a Fish Hook blank? We find pieces similar to that on our Ft Ancient sites. They would shape them out just like yours and then start the process of rubbing them in the middle to open up a hole the length of the Bone and then cut it in two places therefore getting two Fish Hooks from one piece of Bone. I used to have a picture of the process saved but I can't find it.

i know exactly what you mean about the different ways of manufacturing fish hooks and i have some blanks like you are talking about
my thought on this piece however seems like it has way more polish to it like it was used or worn just the way it is
it is really polished

Steve, that is a odd but very nice piece of bone it does look very smooth and polished .Those are some very nice gumdrop scraper's. I really like those little beauties

Good Finds Steve ! Fishhook blank, Flint stretcher Neo ? It's too well shaped for being a hyperbious mercapiod, could be part of a muffler bearing or a Dual flange's When it gets this hot I tend to spend more time in front of this box in the A/C and less time in the field. That bone is probably a spoon. Thanks for lettin us see em.
