A First for me

[kevo]

Some of you may recall last week that I posted half of a piece of metal which may or may not be part of a name plate...either way, I went back to the site to try to find the other half. I spent about 2 hours this morning looking (until it was time to pack up and go to class) for the other half but was unsuccessful. I did manage two nice finds though (along with a bunch of trash). The dime looks pretty good but is basically black. I think it would clean up nice. What do you all think, should I clean it? It came out pretty clean looking, it's just really tarnished I guess The flying eagle is nice, but if you can see it closer it is pretty worn. I put it in peroxide for a bit.

The above was found in a "yard sale" for "5 bucks" in May by kevo in the post below:

The coin from this post:

I have NEVER publicly questioned the authenticity of a post here on Treasurenet...ever.

But now I DO have proof, and I AM making an accusation!

After all the hard work I spend on this hobby, I don't appreciate fake posts such as this.

A note about doubters....

I have seen many posts that I have doubted; some by repeat offenders. I simply do not read posts by these members. I never make accusations. I always try to take the high road!
