Hi all, family commitments are going to be keeping me from my beloved pasttime over the next few weeks
so I decided to run out one last time early this morning to check a school I hadn't checked before..I was only able to check the playground wood chips since it rained heavily the last few days and everything was saturated.
Anyway I arrived at the school around 7 a.m. It was foggy and wet, so I stayed within the confines of the wood chips. My search revealed the usual clad for about the first 15 minutes..then by the swings came ring #20 for me this year..a 10K gold nugget ring with 3 stones. Well that made my day! The ring is actually a child's ring and is only 3/4" in diameter, one of the smallest I've found. When I first saw the color and shine though I knew it was gold.
On the way back I stopped at one more school near the house just to check those chips really quick..I came up with more typical clad and this 925 silver pendant.
So my take for a quick morning search was 89 coins ($5.70 total), a key, a ring, a couple of pendants, some zipper pulls, some buttons, a token, and yet another ring (#21) which turned out to be an inexpensive child's ring.
