A strong start - season 6

Points are items I never seem to manage acquiring .

If there's a Point to be had , I'd accept it,
you wouldn't have a Point would you ?

Oh my poor pointless Life .

How many accounts do you actually have Mr. El Chato? Just curious is all.

Cheers, Loki

That's because, deep down, you, I and everyone here does have a common interest - but just may have differing opinions on what Oak Island holds. You're welcome to come over and discuss it on my back deck anytime. ;-). I'll even supply the beer.

Me too? I like beer!

Cheers, Loki

You? You can have half of what you bring. ;-)

Aw, shucks. What the hell? C'mon over.

About 80 miles East of The Glen. A good friend (sadly now departed) used to race an Abarth Fiat 500L there in the 70's

SCCA, more than likely! Loved the Glen for Formula 1 in the 70's and myself in SCCA Miata's more recently. Mostly raced in the Midwest but went to W.G. on occasion. Seneca Lodge was the place to be!

Holy Shamoly Part 2 - More lead [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]🥥🥥🥥🥥

Holy Shamoly is right! And this time the lead piece is definitely not fishing gear.

They finally hit bedrock on S6. Based on promising leads from S6, they are able to pick a new spot and will sink a GG shaft before the end of the season.

They need to get Aquachigger over there. He would have the whole Island detected by now and wouldn't need someone to dig his signals. LOL I like the show but don't know about their expert metal detectorist. The new lead "felt" old to him. And the container with 6 little items in it was "literally full to the brim" Give me a break. Some reality in this reality show would be refreshing. Now they're coming up with "The Curse Of Lost Confederate Gold" and we will have more of the same old same old. More bobbydazzlers.

I thought it looked like an old dresser pull.

I had to laugh when Rick said. This pipe/pottery etc proves humans have been at this depth.. When they have been pulling heaps of cut wood from that depth.. Surely that proves humans have been there.. So nothing out of S6 that isn't quite recent searchers..

The show is misleading as to the date of the lead. All the experts research shows is the area the lead is from. He simply also previously stated there have not been commercial mines there for 500+ years. The lead could be modern from a non commercial mine also.. It not that hard to find a piece of lead ore and melt it.. (not to mention that lead could of been re-melted and reworked heaps of times).

I still wonder when they did not find dye coming from anywhere else if that is because they did not wait the days needed for it to show (as Dan told them) it looks like they gave up looking once they had evidence of it in Smiths cove. They did not even seem to test 10X and the cave in pit for traces of the dye.

Good luck on there next hole.. That is one more million dollars for drilling company..

i see they made no mention of the 5 targets the MD guy identified in Smiths Cove so I guess they were nothing of significane.

Yet another MEH episode.....58 minutes of repeating scripted lines/video from previous episodes, etc. and all they had to show in the two new minutes was trash left over from all the other digs which long ago proved there was never a pit with treasure...

we should have a pole on how long it takes to watch it.in fast forward it takes me about 10mins and iam sure i dont miss anything.

On the graphic they showed with all the holes etc that had ben dug (that they know about) there was nothing showing their own Geo tech/pattern drilling of the sixty small holes they drilled last season. It is like they have simply deleted all the information found from that exercise. Surely if there was a vault/treasure etc then it would of shown up when they drilled the whole area. I do not see what a bigger shaft can find them if the small shafts did not show any evidence of anything significant. I would 'speculate' that it was not included on that diagram shown because their new shaft GG1 is directly in the middle of where they drilled multiple of these small shafts...

Edit: GG1.webppattern-drilling-2-2 - Copy.webp

I have added the two pics (also note the pattern drilling picture is the earliest one and many more holes were actually dug then shown on this image) It is clear that where they are going to drill the new shaft had multiple small holes dug that found nothing...

Well sure, they didn't find any Dangling Gizmos in those holes so we ignore them.

Lead and coconut fiber is the ultimate goal. Keep your eye on the prize.

I seem to be the only one concerned with coconut fibre so why do you think it would be of any importance to the Lagina's?

Cheers, loki

Not So Fast...Mr. Loki!...I am also concerned with ...Why Coconut Fibres were used!

I have many reasons why Coconut Fibre was used on Oak Island during its construction in the 18th Century.

Coconut Fibre is resilient to Sea Water.

It is resistant to Insect and Vermin destruction.

It has an excellent filter ability.

It has a bonding capability much like Fiber Glass.

It has a strengthening ability like Fiber Glass.

It was cheap and readily available in the Caribbean during the 18th Century.

It was light to transport.

It was an excellent packing material to secure cargo.

It was a good insulation within Tunnels to prevent freeze up.

These are just some of the reasons why the Freemason Depositors would choose this exceptional fibre for their usage.
