Are you looking for tips on detectors? or the Casper areas to hunt?
I'm in Worland, so can't be of much help in pointing you to places to hunt.
I can tell you that I really like my Minelab 705 detector, lots of adjustability, good depth good target ID. and affordable. I got mine used but like new, with an extra 6" coil for 5 bills.

Thanks Scott. The machine I am getting is a Fisher Coinmaster Pro, a good beginners detector from all that I have read. I will spend the next few weeks around Casper learning the machine before I start any day trips exploring places to hunt. I am looking forward to spending time hunting and discovering.
