How old do you think they are ? And what kind of blades do you know?

They were fairly deep under overhang I'm thinking paleoindiAn or archaic but I'm not for sure ?

I left you a nice detailed message in the rock forum. If you care to go look. Thanks, rock

Its a bit hard to see in the photos but I belive I see some work on those. If you've had the chance to to see an entire assemblage of artifacts from a site there is almost always alot of crude expedient tools with just enough work to create an edge on a flake or cobble. I would definitely search that area more... you won't be able to date those pieces without something diagnostic like a projectile point. Put in some time there I'm sure you will find one. Something was being done there.. it could be a Kill site or something more...good luck. It looks like a good spot.

Some type of point

Thx so much I will post more pictures in just a min bc I want to identify these very bad

The last one might of been something when it was whole but now it is just part of something.

It was going to be something. It appears to me that there is pressure flaking on it which is a finishing step. My guess is it was decided at a late stage that it wasn't going to turn out correct and it was utilized as a scraper. It has the shape and horizontal flaking pattern of a Texas type like the Eden.... where are you located?

I believe it is upside down in your pic. It looks like a base to a knife.

It's hard to tell in pictures but the have been worked that's why I think they old

http://www.Arrowheads.com/Pages/Searches/Eden
It appears to be unfinished or a broken tip section of a projectile point/blade.
Its almost impossible to give a proper ID. on the tip of a broken point without more from the same site...or the base which is the most important part. But I would say that is a broken Scottsbluff or Eden Based on the shape And horizontal flaking. Both of those Are late paleo so that would be very old. The link gives a good description..
Also here is one of mine.

You have some nicely worked material! Looks like you have a couple of nice knives too. The one that looks like a point tip with concave notch, looks like it may have been used as a spokeshave. Good Luck on your next outing.

It is difficult to give an age on tools, but it is easier to age a point when the base is intact.
