Hey everyone... I am having a really frustrating time uploading an animated gif i created.. Can someone please help me.. It will upload just fine as a profile picture.. I know the size is more limited for avatars, but I see some pretty complex ones on here that people are using.. Even when I resize the image to below the format size limitation it still wont let me upload it.. PLEASE HELP!

I'm glad you got it figured out. Pretty cool to have an animation for your avatar. Here are a couple tips for a good animation.

Keep the camera steady, use a tripod ( or duct tape) to keep the camera from moving between frames.
Keep the lighting the same in each frame .
Take enough frames to make the motion look smooth.

I started with video and selected a few frames. I made an animated gif from that. I was able to take just 4 or 5 frames and make it look like the windmill was rotating. That kept the file size small. If you had the larger version, you could tell that I cheated. That trick doesn't work for you, but i thought I would throw it out there.
