Another early CW Virginia Seal Button. Number 3 this year.

Found this beautiful Virginia Seal button about 4 inches down in Central VA at an old house site. It cleaned up really nice. It has the Horsmann backmark and looks to be 1850s-early 1860s. This is my 3rd one of the year. Recently found my first VMI Cadet.

Excellent find - 3 make a charm! Yeah, Horstman started operations in the 1820s but went well through the 1800s. Yours looks 1850s/60s as you suggest. HH!
