Another struck through half

Unfortunately this one isn't retained like the staple half I found a few years ago. I hunted 2 boxes today, found 5 40%ers, a dozen NIFC's, a clad proof and a 1976 P that was struck through string on the obverse. I've been able to locate 3-6 of these on the internet so apparently they happen. Several of the ones I saw sold for ridiculously high prices so I wouldn't even want to venture a guess as to actual value. Also no idea where the string comes from. Unfortunately the coin is lightly circulated. Not an all an expert so any thoughts are appreciated.

Should also note it's very hard to get a good picture. Angle and lighting make all the difference. Much nicer in hand than in the photo.

It has to be from some Non-metallic material, otherwise if it was wire it would have melted into the coin., IMO.

Yeah, has to be a piece of yarn or string or something. No idea where it could have come from.
