Hunted my field for close to four hours this afternoon. Ended up with a bunch of early indians including a fatty. Scored my earliest US silver with a 1843 Half Dime. I called it quits when my last hole contained my first trime:headbang: i think im gonna start calling this Bucketlist field

Your probably right. Ive been to most the local schools, parks and churches. I knew if I was to continue making finds it would be through research. I dont really like the idea of door knocking so I hope field hunting will sustain me for a long time. I dont expect it to be anywhere near as good as this current field though

WOW. Some super nice coins. Do you know what took place here, old fairgrounds, picnic grove?

It was a fairgrounds with a racetrack and other various buildings. My dad grew up nearby in the 50's and it was all gone even then
