Any detector that will find small hearing aid?(FOUND!!)

My friends father in law lost his hearing aid getting off his tractor. I only had my seven year old sons bounty hunter quik draw 2 in my trunk and when we tried it on his other hearing aid it didn't pick it up. My other machine is on its way from Garrett but I will get what I need to to help him and then sell it I guess. A propointer beeps when against it, but doesn't register a solid tone.

Something that will run in a true all metal mode should be able to find it. You need to make sure it is a true all metal and not just zero discrimination. There is a big difference. A true all metal is very sensitive and will find tiny stuff. Or if you want to experiment try using your machine in pinpoint mode and see if it will detect the other hearing aid. Pinpoint mode is usually more sensitive.

My whites just makes a Slight peep every 3rd swing On Mine!!!! But When I trigger the Pinpoint trigger I can Locate It Quickly!!! Good Luck!!!! Note If the Farmer Is a Vetran He Can possibly Get a Free Replacement From the VA!!!

Can you show us a link or picture of one? My Ace 250 picks up small items but my DetectorPro Pulse picks up every tiny piece of bread twist wire, tiny rusted pieces of fish hooks and foil. It drives me crazy on the beach. It picks up tiny pieces of foil and metal that I cant even see.

I have found 4 hearing aids with my MXT in the last year and a half.... Very good tones, I assume the battery is what it picked up?
Sold 3 of them for $78 up to $165, so they are worth a bit... I wear one of them, a Siemens that sold new for $1750... Works like a charm!

Thanks for the help guys. Used an AT PRO wide open and found it in about 20 min. great signal no problem!!

I didn't do it for this, but got a new 1823 70 acre farm to hunt out of it. Apparently its a 2500 dollar hearing aid. I had no idea... Hope I never need one.
