🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Any I.D. info on this lead seal?

It might just be modern junk, but, I found it in a reasonably old area where I was finding silver coins. I see all sorts of letters possible on it, but, not sure of the order or who produced it.

Hey Cuda...couple questions that will help I think. What is it made of... it looks light and fragile? Can you put a quarter next to...or on it? I think the "gallows" type feature 25% in from the left of the image is somehow important... as is the small flag like deal waving to the right out of the W loop. It screams a liquor or cologne/perfume cap when new.

Sorry, yes, about the size of a quarter....like a wine bottle lead seal. I just haven't seen one like this.......and my wife and I drink a lot of wine!

Put aside the gallow and flag, and looks to me like only a W and B

Who knows where or what coast or continent, there is a 3 volume set of books, Antique Sealed Bottles 1640-1900, that I do not have. Someone here likely has them or knows somebody that does and can shed some light on it. Wine was not the only alcohol corked and a lead seal, supposedly in old cellars it helped keep the mice and insects from destroying the cork. Just throwing some stuff out there- from my state, there was a William Ball, Beckwith's, Burwell's, etc.
Although if pre-rail, 175 years ago a steamship from the U.S. East coast to CA, going around Cape Horn of South America, took over 4 months.

I don't have enough to make me even half certain of this... but I think there could be some potential in this being related to something marketed by F.W. Braun, who used F.W.B. Co. on some of his products. Though technically a pharmacy, Braun sold all sorts of things. He started in Los Angeles and opened a branch in San Diego (I am assuming this item was found near San Diego..?). This ad uses a different FWB type monogram -- but I found it interesting b/c he probably sold bags of fertilizer and those used lead seals.

He also marketed products in bottles if that fits with some of the other ideas posted above.

This history of the Bergen Brunswig Corporation says Braun was bought out in 1907, but the ad for the sulphur appeared in 1909, so there must be something else going on. Even if I'm wrong, I'm happy to have learned a little more about this company (lol).
