Dug this up on Eastern NC. Trying to think of what it is. It is I think cast. I think probably monkey metal? Any ideas? Does have a hole in the top. Looks like two fish.

The fish are often referred to as Dolphins, as for the item itself looks like a drawer pull (Plate), or maybe just a decorative embellishment for furniture or a chest.

I doubt it is military, but it brings to mind the dolphins used by submariners on decorations

I was thinking furniture plate also… but wantfyto get a second opinion. Thanks guys
