Hello all you AZ members of Treasure Net.

Here is a thread designed for one thing... Checking in and getting out with fellow AZ members. I see that there are a few AZ members who have gotten together and had some fun prospecting. I am kinda jealous. I, and hopefully other members from AZ also, would like to get to know our peers in person. See who like to shovel, and who like to watch shoveling happen... J/K.

I see some members are passing through the area I live in and I would love to get involved.

I will start it off. I live in Glendale, and don't have a truck. ( I have a company truck, but that is a big no-no) I have a drywasher, and a MD. I have my daughter every other weekend, and have the FEVER. I have a membership with Roadrunners. We have claims at Rich Hill, near Vulture Mine, and near Old Woman Gulch outside of Morristown. Anybody wants to set up a day of digging, let me know. I will be waiting at the end of the drive with too much equipment....

I'm looking on the East side if 17.
In the New River Mountains. Some one has a house way back up the wash. Looks like they may have a mining op goin on from GEarth.

I just did another search for the east side of I-17 and none of that is BLM and there are also no claims there (see map)
I now have the BLM Overlay and the recent claims map on my google earth and if ever you want to look around to see what is available you are welcome to come over and see it first hand. I am back behind the outlet mall in Anthem.
I am always back there in a white suzuki samurai and if you ever want a quick tour your welcome to tag along in my vehicle if you want

The yellow shaded is BLM and the blue squares are the claims of private persons

Thanks. I've been tryin to find some ground close to home. Probably go out again next weekend. It appears I'm looking on the wrong side of the freeway.

This is a peek of the six GPAA abby claims on the west side of I-17
This is last years map with 7 there are now 6.... the one in the upper far right corner is gone
If you don't already belong to it GPAA is very inexpensive and lots of claims within 1/2 hour of you between wickenburg area here and north of us

My new 2014 guide shows the six i pointed out then another two with a different name very close just north east of them there along the aqua fria

Is that all south of black canyon city??

There's a sand and gravel pit a little further up the agua fria that I have heard the owner does pretty good in stuff other than sand and gravel:)

I know there is a mica mine out there but have not seen the gravel pit

Lots of washes in that area...any running water right now?

Besides pools of water in different washes there is water flowing where you cross the Aqua Fria via the table mesa rd exit at Little grand canyon rd.....

Last time I was out there they were blocking entrance to the Agua Fria from Table Mesa rd.

Draw an imaginary line east west halfway between black canyon city exit and table mesa rd exit and it's all south of that line and just west of the aqua fria. any stock four wheel drive vehicle (Pickup, jeep etc) can easily reach this area
there are also more claims not mentioned here that are north of that line too but i have not yet figured out how to get there because the people in black canyon city have the access road blocked off

True but there are definitely two legal spots to cross which i have recently used.
Jay if you live anywhere near anthem i can show you on google earth where to cross..... I just don't want to post it here

I'm right next to Anthem

I'm retired so always home but i need to take my grown son to the dentist at 11am for oral surgery so either late this afternoon or tomorrow we could actually take a ride out there. I will pm you my phone number :)

I'm still struggling to make a living so I gotta wait till the weekend most likely. I would like to go do a little exploring for a claim out there
