👉🏽FIRST SILVER👈🏽 1858-S Seated Liberty Half Dollar
Finally...... a little over a year of frequently hunting and then this!!!! My first silver and she's a beauty and an old one! 3/4in depth (Surface find) I thought I nicked it with the digger at first so I was kicking myself in the butt, but once I got home under closer examination I feel better knowing I didn't nick it lol! Probably a lawn mower my guess.
This was found at the same location I found the 1905 Portland Fair Token on a previous hunt. 10 minutes in and first target of a 2 1/2 hr hunt at a 1857 home site!!
I was hunting in a custom setting I created on my V3i, single frequency 2.5K, 100 recovery speed, sensitivity 9, all metal 68, disc 88, 5 low filter.

sucks when it's on a special coin or a first-find, but it's still always a nice find
