Did a curb strip today and got a very welcome surprise. Got a nice 12/47 at 7 inches on the CTX. I had just located a sprinkler head right before that signal and fully expected another. About 7 inches down I see an eagle and say Oh Yes. Out pops a 1902 Barber Quarter. My Son had found a 1947 Rosie at another spot just previous to this one. Then we went down the road and detected around some old trees and my son gets a 12/35 on his etrac and gets an 1896 Indian. I hit a 1910, 1919S and a 1923 wheats. Not a lot, but a very satisfying hunt. Silver #37 for me and # 61 for my son. HH P8040164.webp

That is so cool, you guys must be so stoked, I'm so envious. I hope some day to find an Indian and a barber (and a standing liberty, seated liberty, etc, etc etc) Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, good for you guys. I get excited just looking at your pix. I have gone completely obsessed with this hobby. I hope you find some more.

nice finds congrats HH

Nice silvers

Awesome!!!..I love those Barbers!

Congrats!!! I got a Barber dime yesterday that rang up as 12/43, which usually means penny. SOMETIMES dime. Quarters are almost always 12/45. Interesting to see the slight variations with the CTX. Regardless, I'd dig any of those numbers all day long.

Nice finds! Always nice to find a big Barber!
